okay, so since my entire ad class is incapable of reading a timeline, they couldn't meet my published report group's deadline of sat evening. (We had a meeting planned on sunday to put things together) THEN they didnt make the deadline of Monday at 7pm. THEN is was Tuesday morning, the day it was due, and still only one group's power point slides, and 3 out of 5 groups proposal. So we make an announcement. Please have it in by 1pm......2:20 comes....no change.
FINALLY we get things in, put them together, minus one group's proposal. and make the deadline of 5pm
Great, we email it out and say "here is what was in the CAD form"
THE NERVE
I get two emails, one at 4:40, the other at 7pm saying "we want to change your slide design" , its not "nice" enough. Keep in mind I practically teach business communications, as a preceptor and lab monitor for three semesters.

I send an email to the prof, with my responses to these people. then the best part comes when he emails the class to say, basically, "its fine, leave the girl who saved your ass alone"

okay, so im getting ready to go out....and it starts to POUR. i mean really really pour...it feels like the sky is falling, and then the thunder. I am scared, im sure my dog is in my shower freaking out....and i too, am scared...good thing i didn't bother to do my hair. on the agenda:
out with friends...somewhere with ace pear cider...
and still managing to go to the gym tomorrow AND attend what will surely be a painful group meeting. ugh.

on a semi serious note....i have this friend from high school who i havent seen or talked to in about two years. and of course you know im trying to keep track of people from highschool who i actually talked too. i know she graduated, b/c everyone from the elms has graduated but me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no, really they have. so I was deleting/adding some people to my buddy list on my "other" screen name, because i am probly gonna use it as my new one, cause its easier to remember. and i come accross what i think is her sn. actually, still don't know if it is or not,..so i IM the sn, andthey dont answer... but its probly her b/c im pretty sure she doesnt want to talk..and i dont know why, but hey i figured since i am about to graduate why not see if its her, and try one last time b/f i move out of ohio officially/ for good, and cut my self off from ohio, the elms, and well basically any chance of high school reunion 5 year shit. i mean really flights are much to long to be going from phx to cle to see 5 ppl you like, and 40 you don't. but alas apparently i am not as nice as i thought i was, which i suppose isnt a revelation.................sad that i will probly never talk to her, b/c shes nice, really smart, and funny....but you know...thats what i love about ohio,.....you don't make contact...and it should bother you, and then you get busy.....but its always fun to visit!
so yeah, i guess im not very nice:)

super proud moment in time....
today i went to my riding class and rode my horse at a walk, jog trot, and trot. I did turns at a walk and a trot... and I backed my horse as well. ALL with out stirrups.
lets hope i don't look like a fat idiot on the video tape....and lets hope i can find an instructor here in tucson......

I go to see Miranda Lambert preform on friday night. she kinda sucked, but she has all these really great t shirts i like, like an old willie nelson shirt, and a stevie ray vaughn shirt that i love too! and her jeans sure are cute! where does she get this stuff? I have look all over online and can't find anything. what is the deal?

What the hell is a jeep for anyway....

well this weekend my jeep lost something. its virginity per se. marc and took the blue crush off roading in the deserts south of tucson. SO MUCH fun. and of course the day wasn't complete will we rolled the windows down...and incredibly got radio service....and sang "mud on the tires". no comment on the super bowl. what a bore. not even the commericals were good...........
another higlight of the weekend was the "great smoky mountain gatlinburg" t shirt i scored at a thift store. washed and ready to go for tomorrows two tests. in hopes it will be my lucky t shirt:)

Abnormal attachments

So we all have attachments of sorts. I know Rachel personally knows of my habit of attaching emotion to clothing. Examples include a green and blue plaid shirt Rachel and I have worn since highschool, my red doc martins i wore for a record 8 years, and an affinity for retro western print shirts. I love these things and could never give them up.
Attachments are normal, i did not say healthy. just normal
But these marketing girls, i dont know. Friend or Foe?
I go into advertising every Tue/Thurs. at 7:55 am. I get there last week, and precede to sit down. I hear "can i sit there?" from behind me. apparently this young lady HAD to sit next to her friend. Ok fine, we were doing group stuff, attachments exist, and I said "Honey you can sit anywhere you want". Again today i sit down next to, unknowlingly, to the same girl. Her friend comes in and instead of sitting in front of her so they can talk....asks her friend to move and sit in the next row.
I am really beginning to think I smell. It could be the fact that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I wear boots, old jeans, and sweatshirts because I go to the barn for riding. Funny how on Mondays and Wednesdays when I wear my seven jeans, and do my hair, and wear suede jackets people react somewhat differently. People at Eller clearly have an attachment to clothing as well.
