Zuva

So today was my first official day at Zuva. We did $6,000 in sales, and of that i did $172.00....SO i am actually pretty excited. Both the owner and the director thought i did good. Hopefully Wednesday at Brodeur will be just as exciting.

Its about time.

Well finally, I have two part time jobs. One is working part time and doing event planning at Zuva Gallery ( www.zuvagallery.com ) and the other in an internship at brodeur PR, an international hi tech PR agency in Phoenix. Anyway, it was about time. I still have an interview with Gallo on Thursday however.

Epic, what an appropriate title

Hello to all, I am at the Epic cafe, studying for my Marketing 450 final. They are open till 1am, i go here a lot....I like it here a lot. Yeah sure its a bunch of Tucson hippies, and homeless people with lap tops, but tonight is open mic night, so theres poetry and music too.
The place is like being in a movie. There are bikers, students, professors, and artists.
They make a variety of good drinks, excellent cakes, and smoked salmon. There are cartoons everywhere, the walls are yellow and red...the place has that modern retro feel as much of Tucson does. People here actually know how to play chess.
Everyone here has more than a few piercings.
But onto the name....epic....isn't that a great name
Especially almost one week until my graduation, college is an epic-
right now im still in it!!!
check it out at www.epic-cafe.com

Soon!

I got such nice comments via email about the pictures! So nice of everyone.
But the really exciting thing is that i graduate in less than 2 weeks. Thats right, two weeks from today, i MIGHT be beginning a new job. Even if it is just mucking stalls. Although Brodeur is supposed to get back to me early this week.
FYI, for those of you who don't know, my friend Amanda from Louisiana- is moving here just before I graduate, and living w/me in the Scottsdale/Carefree house for the summer.
Marc's parents are also coming into town for the big graduation party. Its all a bit overwhelming, not to mention that fact i am moving out of my apt on graduation day. However, lets just hope i don't fall off of my new tangerine calvin klein shoes.

Finally

Finally, I have posted just some of my pictures from our March trip to Canyon de Chelly, Moab Utah, and Monument Valley.
For more info about Moab, go to see www.sorrelriver.com which is where we stayed
We rode nearly everyday.....my favorite horse was Mello Yellow, and another one named Oshkinini -neither are in the pictures.
The Canyon and Valley are on Navajo Reservations.
Please go all the way back to the first May 1st posting to make sure you see all of the pictures.
